The Winterbourne is Officially Open!

Villagers of Winterbourne Bassett, members of WBCP and a few special guests gathered on Friday evening to watch Claire Perry MP declare The Winterbourne officially open for business.

Ms Perry last visited the pub in 2013 and was impressed by the transformation that has been achieved. Guests were treated to a celebratory drink and canapés prepared by chef Roger Hawkshaw who joined his wife and business co-owner Emie, and WBCP Chair, Pat Salter, to welcome Claire Perry to The Winterbourne.

It was a busy evening for the bar staff with more than 60 people filling the pub to celebrate the opening.
