The first dinner guests at The Winterbourne were treated to a delicious tasting menu last night to launch the dining by head chef Roger Hawkshaw. Several members of WBCP managed to get one of the 40 places to enjoy the first food prepared on the premises in nearly 11 months.
We started with Confit of Bromham Leek, Arlington White Egg, Parmesan, Fresh Truffle
We then enjoyed Pan Fried Scallop, Spiced Chick Peas, Lime, Coriander
The main course was Haunch of Venison, Celeriac Puree, Spiced Pear, Blackberry Jus
We then finished with Dark Chocolate Delice, Frosted Hazelnuts, Salted Caramel Ice Cream
Hopefully my pictures do it justice, but I promise it was all delicious! I think our fellow diners enjoyed it too.

The bar is now open seven days a week from noon.
The kitchen will be open at the following times:
- Wednesday to Saturday 12:00-2:30, 6:30-9:30
- Sunday 12:00-17:00
